Juan Escobedo



Juan was also the co-founder of ACU Rugby. His home town from Round Rock, Tx, Juan participate in HS Rugby with Rock Rugby.  Juan graduated in 2019 with a B.S Nutrition and Exercise Science.  


Rugby Achievements

Not only starting the first competitive rugby club at ACU.  Juan was selected for the Lone Star Rugby Rattlesnakes All Stars in 2017, 2018, and 2019. 

Aaron Pukluda



Aaron was one of the founders that started ACU Rugby in 2015. Aaron is originally from El Paso, Tx.  He graduated from ACU as a Multimedia major with an English Minor.  He is currently playing semi-pro rugby in Japan and coaching high school rugby.


NSCRO Player of the Month Dec 2017

During his time at ACU, he was the Vice President at ACU Rugby from 2015 until he graduated in 2019.  He was named "Man of the Match" for the first ever match on ACU campus against Trinity University that awarded him NSCRO Player of the Month

Camilla Klar


Cami participated in the first ever competitive womens rugby club for ACU in the Womens Lone Star Rugby Conference.


Cami is from Juda, Wisconsin and graduated from ACU with a BA in Global Studies. During her time at ACU, she was the first ACU student athlete as a NSCRO Women All Star (2018).

Today Cami is a Training Specialist for the International Rescue Committee in Abilene. She gives back to rugby by occasionally reffing college rugby.

Brian Switzenberg


Brian Switzenberg graduated from ACU  with a bachelors in Kinesiology May 2019 .  He currently attends Hardin Simmons University and pursuing his graduate degree in Physical Therapy. Brian is from Plainview, Texas.

Ryan Jordan

Ryan attended ACU from Spring 2013 to Fall 2017.  He graduated with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. Ryan is currently a Teacher and Coach at Clyde High School, Tx.
